While I’m more or less maintaining my primal lifestyle, the 80/20 rule has started to shift away from my favor. So for the next two weeks, I’m going to challenge myself to eat 100% primal. This isn’t to say that it’s strictly meat and greens with fat, as I’ll still have the occasional cream (organic, grass-fed) in my coffee or a some Greek yogurt here and there, but most would agree that dairy hardly breaks the deal.
I’m sticking with veggies, meat, eggs, pickled items, limited dairy and nuts and lots-o-bacon! Also, IF will be the order of the fortnight. Occasional breakfasts or lunches to switch it up on some days, but I shouldn’t have any problem sticking to dinner-only-days.
Today’s menu while at work (a depressing 7-2pm shift on a Saturday):
– 3 Hard-boiled eggs
– Grass-fed London Broil
– Buttercup Squash with too much butter 🙂
– Sauteed Kale and Onions
– Tall Glass of Beef Broth (not as bad as it may sound)
– And, of course, Vitamin D and Fish Oil
